SS Hussain & Sons started out as a small instrumentation business in Karachi 25 years ago, at a time when finding properly sourced measuring equipment locally wasn’t easy. A lot of what was available came through unclear channels, and buyers had no real way to know if a gauge or a valve was genuine until it failed on them.

That's the problem the business was built around, and honestly, it's still the reason most of our customers stick with us. Over the years we've worked with sugar mills, textile plants, food and beverage producers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and companies running wastewater treatment systems. Different industries, but the same underlying need — instruments that read correctly and pneumatic components that hold up under daily use. We buy directly from manufacturers like WIKA, Festo, SMC, and Ashcroft rather than through resellers we can't vouch for, because in this line of work, where the product comes from matters as much as what it does. We also make our own brand, KIPINAGO — pressure gauges, temperature gauges, diaphragm seals. It exists mainly because customers kept asking for something reliable that didn't carry the price tag of imported brands, and we had the manufacturing know-how to build it properly rather than cut corners. Beyond selling equipment, we do calibration, field service, and pneumatic cylinder repair, which tends to be where the actual relationship with a customer gets built. Anyone can sell a part once. Being the supplier someone calls back a year later when that same part needs servicing — that's the part we take more seriously.
