Pressure Instruments in Pakistan
If you’re sourcing pressure instruments in Pakistan, SS Hussain & Sons supplies the full range of pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, pressure switches, and diaphragm seals to industries across the country, out of our base in Karachi. A basic bourdon tube gauge on a compressor line and a diaphragm seal protecting a transmitter from acid vapor are very different jobs, and we stock instruments suited to both, along with everything in between: low, medium, and high-pressure ranges, for liquids, gases, and steam.
Why Pressure Measurement Matters on the Plant Floor
Pressure isn’t something you can eyeball. If a line runs above its rated pressure and nobody catches it, you’re looking at a burst pipe, a damaged seal, or worse. If pressure drops unexpectedly, that’s often the first sign of a leak, a clogged filter, or a pump on its way out and it’s much cheaper to catch that early than after a shutdown.
That’s really the whole case for good pressure instrumentation: it tells you what’s happening inside a closed system before it becomes a visible problem. A properly specified gauge, transmitter, or switch pays for itself pretty quickly in avoiding downtime alone, on top of keeping your process consistent and your plant compliant with safety requirements.
What We Supply
Pressure Gauges are still the simplest and most common way to check pressure on the spot bourdon tube analog gauges and digital ones, in stainless steel and other bodies, depending on what the media and environment demand.
Pressure Transmitters do the same job electronically, converting pressure into a 4–20mA or digital signal you can feed into a PLC or SCADA system. These are the go-to when you need remote monitoring or the reading has to trigger something automatically.
Pressure Switches trip a contact once pressure crosses a set point useful for alarms, pump cut-offs, and safety interlocks where you need a simple on/off action rather than a continuous reading.
Diaphragm Seals sit between your instrument and the process when the media itself would damage it hot, corrosive, viscous, or prone to crystallizing. Fit one and the instrument never touches the media directly, which extends its working life considerably.
We also stock the smaller items that complete an installation of siphons, snubbers, isolation valves, and fittings.
Nationwide Supply, Karachi-Based
We’ve been supplying industrial instrumentation out of Karachi for over 25 years now, and pressure instruments go out from here to plants across Pakistan Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Islamabad, and beyond. Whether it’s one replacement gauge or a full instrumentation list for a new plant, we can help you work out the right spec for your media, pressure range, and process conditions before you place the order. We also offer calibration, field service, and consultancy if you need support after the sale.

FAQs
What’s the difference between a pressure gauge and a pressure transmitter?
A gauge gives you a reading you check by looking at it the needle or digital display is right there on the instrument. A transmitter does the same measurement but sends it out as an electrical signal, so it can be read remotely on a PLC or control system without anyone standing next to it.
Do I need a diaphragm seal with my pressure instrument?
Only if the media would otherwise damage the instrument hot fluids, corrosive chemicals, thick or crystallizing substances. If your process is clean and within normal temperature ranges, a standard gauge or transmitter is usually fine without one.
Can SS Hussain & Sons supply pressure instruments outside Karachi?
Yes we regularly supply pressure gauges, transmitters, switches, and diaphragm seals to industries across Pakistan, with calibration and technical support available wherever you’re located.
