• Periodic checks to confirm vendor progress reports
• As needed, pictures of the progress
• Analysing vendor purchase orders to check for significant lead times
  • Check the project purchase order for compliance.
  • Examine the RFQ requirements
  • Examine the AFC (Approved for Construction) drawings.
  • Review (if necessary) the vendors’ quality control manual Reports on Material Tests
  • Review test equipment calibration certificates.
  • Review the Special Procedures for the Control Panel.
  • (If necessary, review) Procedure for Control Panel Preservation, Packaging, and Shipping
  • Make that electrical equipment complies with the assigned electrical area categorization
  • Visually evaluate the surface for imperfections, dimensional compliance, and surface polish.
  • Verify that the control panel name tags follow the General Arrangement drawings by looking at them.

• If available, review the SAFE chart or the cause-and-effect paper to ensure compliance.
• Verify that the appropriate field simulations are in use.
• System of full-cycle controls.
• Check the consistency and integrity of the control system.
• Any “shipped loose" products should have the part number, quantity, and condition checked.
• Make sure the compression/gland and NPT connections for the system’s hydraulic and pneumatic connections are leak-free.
